Mixing and producing well in the modern market comes down not only to the creative process, but the unique ability to hear what a song or album can be. It’s important that your instruments, words, and melodies are at the same quality and levels audiences have come to expect. I can help with that and we’re gonna have a fun time, too!

Every mix that leaves my studio is top quality. Meaning if it happened to be released at “Mix 1”, that’s fine, because it’s radio ready. You’ll take a listen and provide your thoughts. I’ll provide detailed notes on what changes I make to the mix based on your feedback. And once you give the thumbs up, I’ll provide any files you need… TV tracks, performance tracks, stems, etc.
The feedback loop
The ability to take raw feedback and translate it into what needs to happen next is an art form in and of itself. It’s a skill I’ve honed over many years of experience working with my clients.
I’ve met artists who have reached the end of their project and are disappointed in how it sounds. They feel they didn’t have the right technical words to explain to their engineer what was missing. It bothers me to hear this. In the end, they settled for a project they aren’t happy with.
Instead, I’d like for you to work with a mixer and producer who doesn’t require you to speak their language. Does the snare “sound odd” or are the vocals “not quite right“? Okay, I can work with that! Let’s have a conversation. Perhaps over monkey mocha lattes at Frothy Monkey 12 South?
My clients know that when a final mix leaves my studio, it’s got the right sound and we’re on the same page.
